At Land O’Lakes, Inc., we realize our cooperative model sets us apart. It’s the foundation on which we were built, continually made stronger by the talented, innovative and dedicated member-owners that make up our system. A cornerstone of that system is the strong, member-elected leadership that help guide the direction of the cooperative.
In accordance with the changes to the Bylaws approved at the recent Land O’Lakes Annual Meeting, all 20 Director positions and all 93 Regional Council seats, representing both our dairy and ag governance regions, will be up for election during the 2022 Leader Elections that take place in December of 2021.
This is a unique opportunity for members to participate in Land O’Lakes governance and we are now accepting nominations for members interested in serving on the Corporate Board of Directors or on a Regional Council.
“Coming out an unprecedented 2020, and considering the challenges ahead, it’s more important than ever that our cooperative and industry listen to a broad collection of voices,” says Land O’Lakes Board Chairman Rick Brand. “To help meet the demands of our changing landscape, we are looking for a pool of well-qualified, diverse member-owners to help fill the more than 100 open Elected Leader positions within our cooperative governance system.”
